Cargobike of Sweden is proud to have been a central part of Premo's pioneering initiative to establish a more sustainable delivery infrastructure in Stockholm. Through the use of our cargo bikes among other methods, Premo has now become the first major distribution company in Stockholm to achieve completely fossil-free home deliveries.
Until recently, all of Premo's vehicles were powered by diesel or gasoline. However, starting from October 17, 2024, nearly 1,000 of Premo's newspaper distributors use cargo bikes from Cargobike of Sweden, electric vehicles, or travel on foot to deliver newspapers to over two million Stockholmers every day.
– Being able to achieve complete emission-free home deliveries is a significant accomplishment for us. We are proud to have made such progress in our environmental efforts in less than five years, explains Jan Persson, CEO of Premo.
